SailLaser at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy

It's no coincidence that SailLaser chose the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy as the home of our first Centre. Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour are widely recognised as the finest sailing waters in the UK. This, together with the development of the new purpose built, on-shore facilities, has resulted in this site being selected as the 2012 Olympic sailing venue.

The Weymouth location offers a superb venue for events and training, and our SailLaser facility there provides courses and access to boats for people of all abilities, from complete beginners to Olympic medallists. The grounds include a licensed clubhouse, conference/ meeting rooms, slipways, a boat hoist, extensive dinghy and car parks, a permanent crane, and storage for all types of boats. Comfortable hostel style accommodation is available within a short 10-15 minute walk of the Sailing Academy.
